Hi BA Visiting family and from out of town. Is there any good options for stores where I could get some Chicago staples in Northfield?
Did you try the Places search feature? There is nothing in the way of a 'store' that comes up for Northfield, but there is a Binny's in Winnetka and another in Highland Park. Do a search of those two cities and you'll get a couple other options too. Or you could try other surrounding cities. Someone from the Chicago area will chime in soon with more specifics.
Actually I just reread your post and realized that you are already in Northfield, so the task is easier. Click on Places on the main menu, then Nearby. Give permission for the site to recognize your location and then you'll get a map with everything nearby that is in the BA database. The green markers with a bottle are the bottle shops.
