Special releases don't sit on shelves too long in these parts but a new total wine just opened in coral springs. Could also check out Riverside Market or Craft Beer Cartel in Fort Lauderdale.
The Brass Tap in Coral Springs gets a lot of special releases both on tap (growler fills) and in bottles. Worth a look.
Coral Springs TW has a limited selection. Brass Tap and Riverside Market along with Craft Cartel price gouge pretty badly.
Well, they are bars so you would expect higher prices. Bars charge more because they have to in order to be in business.
In Pompano the Whole Foods on Federal, just north of Copans Rd. is a good place to buy beer without having to travel very far. If you go often and get lucky one might find something exceptional at a WF. Last year I found 4 Good Gourds just sitting there on the shelf at the Ft. Lauderdale WF.
Agree on Whole Foods Pompano and also recommend the ABC on Federal Hwy in Oakland Park. It's not too far south of Pompano and had a good selection. Go middle of the week for special releases.
