Hi All, My daughter is in a basketball tournament this weekend in Wales, WI. Coming from IL along 43 to get there. Looking for a good bottling store that is open in the evening of Saturday (would have to be close) or during the day Sunday on the drive home. Cheers, Scot
Woodmans grocery store in Waukesha . They have a large beer selection, but do not take credit cards. They take debit and cash.
I've heard Discount liquor gets TG if you are looking for that (would call to verify). Otherwise I agree go to Woodman's, good selection and prices, based on what I've seen in Janesville and Kenosha.
Thank you for the input. Looked on maps where Waukesha is, about 25 minutes east of Wales. Prefer something south and/or along 43 back towards IL. Spent $500 in CO 2 weeks ago, don't want to force my wife to go "out of the way" for me to spend more money. Will be going down 43 to Elkorn down to Lake Geneva to route 47.
******************** There is a Woodman's in Kenosha on 50 off 294-- Large liquor store inside the grocery store.
There really isn't anything that close to Wales. Waukesha (Discount/Woodmans) or Oconomowoc (Sonoma Cellars) are your only real options.
Albrecht Sentry in Delafield (about 5-10 min north of Wales on Hwy. 83) has a surprisingly decent beer selection. Address: Nagawaukee Shopping Center, 3255 Golf Rd, Delafield, WI 53018
Discount Liquor in Waukesha and Sonoma Cellars in Oconomowoc are both pretty close to Wales - They both have TG accounts. It's not south, but in the vicinity
