Beer Style Perception vs. Brewery Designation

    The book I referenced was written by Master Brewers of American breweries in 1946.

    There are countries (for about 180 years in America) other than Germany were Lagers are brewed.

    Which is why it's irrelevant when discussing a German beer.

    BTW, are you planning on attending the NHC this year?

    Yup, I will be there. I will even be bringing some Lagers with me.:slight_smile:

    One will be a reconstruction of the original Michelob Lager beer as brewed in America in 1896.
