    Hi everyone,

My family will be in Wisconsin next weekend and will be stopping at the Woodmans in Madison (Milwaukee St, near 90) to pick up beer for me. I'll be getting the usual suspects from New Glarus, but wanted to know what else is out right now, especially from the Midwest breweries.

Not looking for any super rare, impossible to find releases - just solid beers that will likely be available at that Woodmans. I know that particular Woodmans usually has some of the 3flloyds beers, but not sure what is out now.

    Thanks in advance!

You can still get CW BBS, Tyranena Devil Over a Barrel, FFF Behemoth, and O'so Convenient Distraction at Jenny St. Market. They also have BA Old Numskull and BA Wee Heavy. Other common FFF bombers are Deadnaught, Rabbid Rabbit, and Blackheart IPA. Ale Asylum Bedlam is pretty good, but now that it's year-round, you'll run into some old bottles. I also dig Hopalicious, but it's not a great beer by any means. I'm sure there is some other halfway decent stuff, but I don't really know what off the top of my head. In all honestly, if you're looking for good Wisco beer, I'd stick with New Glarus 9x out of 10. Berliner Weiss is a winner, and Scream IIPA is suppose to be pretty tasty.

Look for 3 Sheeps Nimble Lips 1 (Oaked IPA) and 2 (Oaked Sour Ale) and Hello My Name Is Joe.
Also any Black Husky bombers that are available, Howler, Pale Ale, Sproose.
If you like Farmhouse ales look for Door County Brewing Pastoral and Biere de Seigle.

I can get Bruery in NC. TG doesn't distribute to that Woodman's. Any specifics from the others? I also don't know what GF means.

Thanks, I'm not familiar with 3 sheeps. Looks quite good, hopefully they'll be able to grab some.

Local favs - Lake Louie Warped Speed Scotch Ale and Mister Mephisto Imperial Stout. Tyraneena Scurvy IPA, and the New Glarus line-up; Scream IIPA is very good as is Berliner Weiss adn Dubbel. Also Snow Shoe and Dancing Man Wheat. Ale Asylum has some decent beers, my favorite is Ballistic IPA. You can also get Great Lakes beer here (I recommend the Lake Eerie Monster IPA) and pretty much everything else mentioned above.

I second this one specifically. I never leave the state of Wisconsin without at least a six pack of it in my possession.
