Beer Tasting help

    I'm serving the below beers this weekend. I need some guidance on a good lineup and food pairings. Thanks gents!
    Westvletern 12 "Rarest beer in the world" (Belgian Quad)
    Cigar City Hunaphu Bourban Barrel Aged (Stout)
    Cigar City Good Gourd 2012 (Pumpkin Ale)
    Cigar City Warmer Winter Winter Warmer 2012 (Old Ale)
    Cigar City Humidor Series Double American Black IPA
    Cigar City Ghost Stories (Braggot)
    Firestone Walker Sucuba Barrel Aged (English Barleywine)
    Evil Twin Brewing Imperial Biscotti Break (Stout)
    Weyerbacher Riserva (Wild Ale, Sour)
    The Bruery Sour in the Rye (Wild Ale, Sour)
    Yazoo Brewing Sue (Porter)

    you always want palate cleansers IMO for me its water and bread for a quick cleanse for food i like lite cheeses and fish like tilapia and flounder or some peel and eat shrimp

    Just as with wine. I go from the lightest to the heaviest.

    As a general rule, light to dark, low alcohol before high, non BA before BA.

    Honestly, the thing that sucks about big tastings, or those involving lots of full flavored beers, is that they all can start to taste similar. I noticed this in wine tastings years ago. I'm sure you'll have a good time no matter what, jealous of that BA Huna

    Nice lineup, if it were me, I'd go sours>humidor>winter>gourd>ghost>Westy>yazoo>sucaba>biscotti>hunahpu

    I would also suggest sours early with small bites of something fatty to work as a foil against the acidity.Something like rumaki or prosciutto and melon could be good starter options.Maybe not super casual but easy to prepare.
