Was anyone else able to snag tickets for the Beer Temple 2nd anniversary event next Sunday? My wife and I grabbed a pair yesterday.

I remember reading a few things from last year's event and it sounded like a blast. Very excited to see what they have in store this year.

I would have liked to, but we were driving back from MI yesterday (with A LOT of other people in bad traffic). I would love to hear details about it once you go to it.

Last year was fun. There's not a ton of beer though. Hopefully that changes this year. Hill Farmstead Citra kicked in 15 minutes last year but prop lasted almost the entire time. It's cool. You kids enjoy as I'm stuck working.

Are there still tickets available? Doesn't make any sense for me to drive three hours up to Chicago only to get a ticket and then drive back home.

I'm okay with this, honestly. It's a free event, so I wouldn't expect tons. The brewery lineup they've already announced is pretty killer, so I imagine it will be a good time regardless.

Doubtful, but you could always call the store and ask.

Missing out on this years' event but the 1st anniversary party was great. Plentiful pours of their tap list and during the course of the day Chris brought out some more rare bottles for sale that were equally distributed. I picked up a Velvet Merkin and a single of BCBBW. Enjoy for all of those going tomorrow!

Agreed. Fantastic event. My wife and I went and never felt overwhelmed. We were able to try everything we hoped for and also brought home a pair of great glasses and a bottle of 2013 BCS.

Also @quinnsi I have to apologize to the great dude checking IDs/tickets at the gate (formerly at WLV). I came in and he mentioned there was a keg of water and then followed up almost immediately about accepting donations. I thought he was making a joke about donating to get some water so I chuckled. He looked so confused as to why I would laugh at the suggestion of making a donation. So sorry for that...I'm really not a giant monster who laughs at donating to great causes.

Yes, cheers and many, many thanks to @quinnsi for throwing this party for your customers! So appreciative of you and your team's efforts in putting together this fantastic event. The wife and I had a lovely time enjoying that dope taplist. This was yet another example of why you are one of the best in the business.

Another big thanks to @quinnsi for throwing an epic 2nd anniversary party. For those who were not able to make it, please rate Beer Temple here on BA as well as Rate Beer.

My first time yesterday trying anything from Transient besides Buckley. I was really impressed with Sporadic #3 and Ardent. I missed out on the Blackberry Maigre, but the other two were standouts!

Tasting a bunch of different Transient beers for the first time, poured by the brewer himself working hard behind the tap, was the highlight of the day for me. Really grateful he was willing to work the event. The couple of Pipeworks beers on tap were also outstanding. The Metropolitan Zwickel was delicious. So many beers to try, so many sour...what an awesome afternoon.
