Been hearing a lot of positive things about this brewery in Port Crane, NY
Just picked up a 4pk of Cultivate an 8.9% NEIPA and was very impressed by it

Has anyone else tried their beers?..thoughts?

I liked what I tasted at the brewery last summer and then bought some cans that did not hold up just a week or two later. Anyone else have that experience?

I used to live in the area, so here are a few interesting points about Beer Tree:

    - Located just outside Binghamton (if you are curious where Port Crane is)
    - Focus on NEIPAs, sours, and the occasional stouts
    - Usually have 2-3 cans available each day for take-out, with 85% being NEIPAs
    - Most well known beers: Pineapple Creamsicle Series and Neapolitan Shake (collab with Mortalis)
    - Fox and Farmer on-site food is worth a trip by itself, let alone the beer as well.

That was a common complaint from opening until about 6-8 months ago. My own anecdotal experience would say they are exceptional for about 3 weeks and then slowly fade after that. I would recommend drinking within a month.

Mohawk Taproom in Scotia had a Beer Tree tap takeover a few weeks back and had both Pineapple Creamsicle and Neopolitan Shake on tap..missed out on the Creamsicle, but had the Neopolitan and really enjoyed it

Personally I prefer their non-adjunct NEIPAs, but everyone in the area goes crazy when the Pineapple Creamsicle is released. Velcro Walls, Cultivate, Into the Forest, and Salute Your Shorts are better imo.

I have had only positive experiences with their beers- mostly NEIPA. The owners and employees seem like good people.
Best "new" New York brewery west of the Hudson??

I stopped in here with friends over the weekend and tried everything on tap. No milkshake IPAs (not that I seek that, but see that they make them based on prior comments) but the NEIPAs that were on were all very good to great. Into the Forest was fantastic. They had six beers in cans, I think, and 4 of them were NEIPAs. Catching Feelings was also a really good beer.
This place is definitely worth a stop if in the area, and not far off the highways, either.

I just had a can of Mosaic Sunset bought in NYC and canned 3/4. I thought it was excellent. Really good.

Where in NYC? Doubt I'll be trekking around given the circumstances but I don't think I've seen their stuff in the city yet.

Beer Tree is distro in Western NY. It's usually some of the best haze you can find on a shelf, and their Morning Timber's are awesome. I've actually sent their IPA's to a few of my trade partners as bonus cans and almost all of them ended up asking for more in the future.
