We are two girls from Denmark, mainly worked with Belgian beers but now eager to explore the american beers! How is it done better than visiting the places?! But where to go? We are mainly interested in microbreweries who can present us something new and exciting stuff that we probably do not have the chance to taste in DK. Please enlighten us! And if anyone is up for meeting us and presenting their favorite beer it is more than great. We are in SD from the 28 October and is flying from Seattle the 19th November. Thanks!
Aww you're foreign. I was fully prepared to make snide comments about how no one that I'm aware of cooks tripe with beer, and really how it's just not that popular out here in general. That said, check out these threads: http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/portland-la-road-trip-stops.189086/ http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/visiting-san-diego-summer-2014.191343/ There are plenty more, search is your friend here. A lot will depend on how long you're spending in each place, what else you're doing on the trip, etc. The US is a big country, and that drive is a long one. You have plenty of time, which is good, but be prepared to spend the better part of a couple of days of it just on the road.
