    I had Sam Smith's Nut Brown Ale this year with my 3pm feast. I've enjoyed this beer in the past but for whatever reason, it really wasn't all that satisfying this time around to be honest. Tried a little taste of some Whistle Pig rye whiskey after dinner (too bloated to drink any more beer) and that was interesting and pretty tasty. Had a tiny $5 bottle (like 2 shots worth) at the store counter so thought worth a try. Good buy.

    I know the thread asked about "while cooking the turkey", but it's 15 freaking degrees today and I was planning to come home and drink my very first St. Bernardus Christmas Ale tonite after finishing with the family.

    And damn it I am still just too full to manage it.

    Braxton kickback cider before, wine with dinner. Having a couple old fezziwigs and homebrew tonight.

    I shared a Mayflower Thanksgiving ale 2018, a Cranberry Soak, an old CBC Great Pumpkin Ale bottle mixed with some apple cider, and now some Rodenbach Caractère Rouge 2013

    Sadly the MOAS was a disappointment. It was a 2016 version that was still in the store's cooler when I bought It earlier this week. It was moderately oxidized.

    Late to the party here, but had a couple of Sparkling Swan's since they are so grape forward, went great, worked all night so took a nap after cooking and eating and had a celebration for dessert. Can't do the heavies after eating so much.
