Tickets on sale for Garfield Park Conservatory (GPC) Members on March 3, general public on-sale April 1.

    http://www.garfield-conservatory.org/beer_under_glass.htm

Tickets are $15 higher than last year for both GA and VIP tickets, respectively.

    General Admission: $60 (plus fees)
    VIP: $90 (plus fees)

Ability to become a GPC Member available until February 23 (http://www.garfield-conservatory.org/join_online.htm) if you want to get a jump on tickets. (Necessary for GA tickets last year, more or less, not necessary for VIP tickets. With the price increase, tough to tell if ticket sales last year will be similar to how tickets sell this year).

This was a great time last year! One of my favorite events of CCBW. $60...is that higher than FOBAB?

More expensive than last year's fobab tickets. Probably doesn't bode well for this year's fobab prices. I love BUG but the quality of the experience is so weather dependent that $60 seems like a bit of a gamble.

Last two years have been fantastic weatherwise. But $60? That hurts a little.

I've been a GPC member is the past. I have no idea what it gets you, but the conservatory is a great place to hang out in the winter. I think they have other special events that you have to be a member to attend.

EDIT: here is a link with what the membership "rewards"

$60 is a tough call. I had enough fun last year that it's probably worth $60. On the flipside, now that we have a daughter it's probably either go to Beer Under Glass Thursday OR tour multiple CCBW events in Chicago on Saturday. Can't do it all out in St. Charles. Decisions, decisions. Thanks for posting the news.

The West Loop Craft beer fest that wraps up CCBW might be a better option, considering the brewers list in 2013 for BUG and this were almost identical. Tickets were $40 last year, will be interesting to see how much they go up as this is an ICBG event too.

GI Flanders Red, Deschutes Abyss, Half Acre Double Galactic Daisy Cutter, GI Berliner, GI Sofie Paradisi, Solemn Oath/Lost Abbey collab, PW MariLime, first taste of Buckledown & Ale Syndicate, Destihl Strawberry Sour, and multiple complex Haymarket brews. There were so many options, but those I remember stood out. There were a few places that had casks. There were smaller breweries with BA stuff. The food was also fantastic. Floyd's stuff tapped out real early.

It's a great event but I wouldn't go into it thinking you're going to try tons of super rare stuff. There is some of that but if you ask me, the real star of this one is the venue...

FOBAB was $50 last year. But now I can see it reaching $60.

3 minutes for GA. Good for the folks at Garfield Park Conservatory. I'll be there with my wife. Makes the $60/ticket worth it when it can also serve as a night out with my lady. Food was excellent last year and the venue is stellar. It's a great night to enjoy really solid local beer rather than waiting in long lines trying to taste an elusive whale.

I and my wife have gone every year, when the weather is nice it is a great place to relax and try some good to great beers. It fun poking around and finding a food station or beer station. The Venue makes it worth the money... IMHO...
