Had a great time with Mdunk and Dlello. Was a bit more crowded than I thought it would be, but waiting for samples didn't take long at all. What a gorgeous location to drink! I hope no foilage was trampled.

Half Acre had 2x Daisy Cutter, Chocolate Camaro, reg Daisy Cutter, and Meat Wave.
Goose Island and Goose Island brewpub were both there. They poured a rhubarb saison, scarlett, bourbon county coffee... some other semi-regular stuff too.
Flossmoor had a great un named sour poured from a firkin made specially for the event.
My personal favorite was the sour from the St. Dekkera series from Destihl. It was aged in a bourbon county cask for 3 1/2 years! Tart as all get out, light in color and not much stouty goodness at all. Go central IL!
I missed out on Haymarket's barrel-aged Belgian black IPA. What a beer for beer dorks!
Solemn Oath's hoppy imperial red was pretty great too.

Awesome. I'm going to Half Ace - The Sands tonight. I'm thinking this means that Galactic 2x DC will be there.

Goose Island brought it, the BCBS Coffee ran the entire night. Not to said there weren't other great brews. My fav's: GI-Maude, Haymarket-Mathias, Half Acre-Choc Camaro, Metropolitain-Alt, Revolutions-WC IPA, and Solemn Oaths will be interesting to watch.

Flossmoor had a cask of something with some serious funk. They didn't even have a name for it.
