Some of this has been posted within other threads and is on much of social media but I thought it may be helpful for people to input them here as they prefer? There may be an overall list in the app that I am unaware of, but often these get flooded by "events" that may not be things people on this forum care about.
Some already mentioned by @tinoynk: Friday: Torst – The Answer Other Half – Monkish Brouwerij Lane - Bunch of fun drafts Saturday: Brouwerij Lane - Threes, Folksbier, Industrial Arts The Wilky - Hudson Valley Breweries Sunday: Torst - Monkish Beer Street - Suarez, HVB, Threes The Well - Barrier, EQ, Grimm, KCBC, Pipeworks Just to cover the next few days, as more events get finalized during the week (e.g. St. Gambrinus, OMH, Milk and Hops, Beer Street, As Is...)
Seems like every brewery in the city and Hudson Valley is also releasing cans and/or bottles this weekend. Overwhelming. Any chance of Torst being civilized on Sunday? I think I'd rather be at Beer Street for the Suarez and HVB anyway. Can someone tell me more about the Wilky event? @M-Fox24
Google is my friend, I know. Beer Street event looks fantastic. I'll be there for sure. https://www.nycbrewed.com/beer-week-events/
Well, that link pretty much sums up the Wilky event, and everything else OH is doing 4oz pours, which doesn't seem worth the effort when factoring in noise, a crowded venue, and long-wait times. Consequenlty, Torst will probably be no different; however, there's alot more going on Sunday, so perhaps there are more distractions to occupy others...keeping my eye on that Beer Street event
That Beer Street event yesterday was great. Very cool to see Henry from Monkish there, and he was chatting it up with Dan Suarez for quite a while (a collab would be dope but seems very non-Suarez). Awesome to be rubbing elbows with those guys, Henry seemed to be all over BK last weekend.
Don’t forget: Monkish initially started out with a focus on Belgians. Also, Suarez is one of the many guest breweries, for their Anniversary on 3/10
Beer Street event was great. Showed up around 9PM and had access to all the Suarez offerings with almost no crowd.
Yeah I saw Henry grab several glasses of General Store so they were clearly talking about Belgian-style beers. I could easily see them producing a great wild ale / crisp saison together, but would be surprised to see SFB do something so overtly hype-y. Knowing that de Garde collabed with Monkish on a DIPA kinda effs with my mind though, all bets are off
