While I can't help but echo the want of variety almost always, I do tend to buy Lost Abbey - Devotion and Stone's Enjoy By frequently.

If my homebrew is running low, and because my monthly beer budget is rather meager...I will almost always grab a 12-pack of Ranger to tide me over.

    It's nearly always on-sale for $12.99/per 12pk...and it's fucking delicious.

I'll always have a thing for Sierra Nevada seasonals, particularly Ruthless Rye, so I pick up those and Torpedo frequently. Aside from those I'm trying to support my locals as much as possible, my two favorites being Jack's Abby and Ipswich Brewing. Right now I have some Celebration and some Smoke and Dagger in the fridge.

I used to regulary pick up 6-ers of Prima Pils, Pikeland Pils, 60 minute, Stone IPA, and Sierra Nevada Stout. I grabbed plenty of other beers here and there, some more often than others, but those were my mainstays. I didn't find it difficult to try out new things while coming back to my personal classics on a regular basis.
Now it's a little different, and in regards to Italian craft I don't have any mainstays mostly because I'm not willing to consistently overpay for the same beers. I mix in some craft while sticking to german/czech offerings for everyday drinking, but if prices were reasonable I'd without a doubt be drinking Birrificio Italiano's Tipo Pils or BiBock every weekend.

I was thinking about this recently, and came to the same conclusion. I haven't had enough different brews that I feel like I'm done trying everything new I can get my hands on, but I am starting to shift my fridge stocking procedures.

Having a case of Heady has definitely helped; I plan on getting another soon. Sierra Nevada is a great company to support (Celebration, Hoptimum, and I should really buy more Torpedo and Pale Ale); I'll drink all the Gandhi Bot I can find ("all I can find" meaning, apparently, about a 12-pack per year); I've started to repeat experiences with Maine Beer Co. stouts and porters (delicious!); I may start getting Flower Power regularly now that it's in this area; and I think I will start stocking more Trappists so that I can drink them more regularly.

The problem is that there are more good beers than there are days to drink them. Lamp/beer mentioned Sixpoint; I love Resin! But am I going to grab it over HT, or Gandhi Bot, or...well, everything else?

    Choices, choices, choices!

I thought I'd seen a previous discussion - that must have been it! I did a quick search and came up with nothing. However, I sort of meant for this to be a discussion about brand loyalty, and what our buying habits have to say about our alleged devotion to the makers.

Daisy Cutter, Anti Hero are the beers "I probably buy the most. Although I have taken a few months off of Anti-Hero after drinking a ton this summer.

I think Surly Furious may be getting into this rotation as well, fantastic brew I just had for the first time last week.

I almost always try something new if I'm just buying for myself. If it is for others then I am going to get what I know they'll like. That being said I try to support local breweries and buy stuff from them even if it isn't the most mind blowingly good beer you have ever had. They create jobs, stimulate the economy, and provide beer to your community. And the good things is that we have a lot of good breweries in Montana for some odd reason.
