It's really too bad you are flying out on the 8th, as Brewer's Art and Pratt Street Ale House are co-hosting the (11t? 12th?) annual mid-Atlantic holiday beer tasting at PSAH which is always a swell time. When are you departing?

And Peabody Heights just started brewing and giving tours in Charles Village. A brewery less then two blocks from my house!

The event sounds great but we are trying to hit up as many stops as possible ... not tying the crew to any events. We'll be by The Brewer's Art & Pratt St at around 5pm & 7pm-ish respectively on this coming Friday.

Don't mean to scare you off, but do keep in mind that 5 to 7 PM on a Friday is prime time for downtown rush hour traffic. Also, while you might find some street parking near OLAR, you can fogeddaboutit around PSAH and Brewer's Art. My recommendation would be to use the Symphony Center parking lot for Brewer's Art (it's no more than a 5 or 10 minute walk from there), and then whatever you can find around PSAH. Parking in a lot will be expensive on a Friday night (parking validation is a foreign concept in Bawlmore), but you guys are from the Boston area, and so should be used to that.

    Have fun...

Hee. These guys are from Boston, worst city driving in North America. They'll be just fine.

Thankfully we don't drive when we drink so we never have to worry about parking. We'll be coming from a different direction at 5pm as well. Thanks for the tip though.

Smart man. In that case, you should have no worries whatsoever. Enjoy.

just so you know, your route will have you bouncing all around the city. if you wanted a better flow i might recommend doing the Brewers Art - PSAH - Alewife in order (or reverse). The Charm City Circulator is a free and non-ghetto bus that makes it pretty easy to get between them. PSAH and Alewife are within walking distance (and so is Heavy Seas but it takes a bit longer and is also near a CCC route.)
