BeerAdvocate Emails Stopped Arriving?

    I really rely pretty heavily on email notifications to tell me when I get a new message, but I haven't received one since Tuesday. I've received 5 or 6 messages since then but no emails alerting me of them. They're not going to my junk folder and all other emails are arriving in that inbox without issue, and I haven't changed my settings at all. The box to receive email notifications is still checked. Is this a problem on BA's end or on mine? Was there some site announcement regarding a change here that I missed?

    Curious what's going on here, is this happening to anyone else?

    From around mid-day on April 27 to this morning we had an issue with our outbound emails due to changes with out email services. It was resolved early this afternoon.

    Not certain if it's just me, but I've stopped receiving email alerts from BA again (as of early yesterday evening, I think). Hopefully just a temporary bug, but I thought I'd let you know. Thanks!

    It's an issue with your email and/or your email provider. Not BA. Emails being sent to you are being rejected. It looks like you may have tagged us as spam recently and now you're blacklisted.

    There's nothing we can do on our end to resolve this, but updating your account with a new email will.

    Thanks for the quick reply. As of yesterday evening, I changed my email address on BA and the emails began flowing as expected by this morning.

    I realize this is water under the bridge, and there's likely no way to figure out exactly what happened, but...
    I did not tag any BA emails as spam.
    I was using a Yahoo! account. I'm guessing if their servers were rejecting BA's emails you'd have a lot more people missing emails? (I don't really know how Yahoo works though...)

    But if it's a one-off problem with my email account only, maybe not worth any more thought.

    It appears to be isolated to your yahoo.com email.
