Hi all, I know a few of you are "Beermasons" Just wondering if you think that the sort of stuff they have been sending out is acceptable? I found most of the Mendecino beers from the last pack terrible, Do others think that they should have a freshness guarantee, i mean if they are bothering to locate and ship small amount of beer for their own distribution, surely they could ensure its fresh, and not infected.?
Yeah, the last pack wasn't brilliant by any means. Some of the glassware is alright, but some of the beers lack freshness, for sure. Communication isn't great either. Still they are doing something different & having a crack, so it'd take another bad box or two to reconsider.
Happy to continue with my 3 strikes policy. They've racked up enoughcredibility to allow some misses I reckon. I also kind of like the fact that, in direct contrast with the rest of my beer purchasing, beermasons is a surprise. What really made the last box so shit was the crappy Mendocino stuff comprised most of the pack.
i agree most of the pack last time was not the best. but the previous packs have made up for it. as for communication, they did have a serious problem with emails not being passed through the system they were using. i myself was affected by this. maybe it needs to be brought to their attention that some of the beers haven't been at their best when we receive them and that they shouldnt be stored as long.
I'd be interested in the thoughts on the latest pack... Not real keen on getting a pack of beers (with the exception of 5) that I can put together myself.

its definitely lame, but better than last months,, dont know why we need 3 inferno ales though hey Lukie how do we find out abotu this guy in adelaide that is starting up a beer club, you mentioned the other day
Quality of beers in this pack is better than the last one and I know that because I've already had all but two before, all bought from the local craft beer shops too. I thought the point was to get beers usually not accessible.
