As a Canadian living in the US, I'm excited for the border reopening. I'm curious how the lack of cross-border traffic has influenced the beer scene in Canada. Clearly Canadians haven't been driving down to the US to grab beers, and vice versa. Has this driven a better local scene? I look forward to heading up to Alberta in early September to visit some new places (in Calgary). Hopefully trading beers across the border will start to kick back up as well.
It's been difficult for me but it's alwayls possible to get US beer but it's a lot of money (duties, brokerage fee..). If I had a friend coming from US, I will ask for help but I don't know anyone for now. For sure, Discovering Canadian release changed since last year but not much as I wanted.
