Spokane actually gets something Seattle doesn't??!! I'm going to be walking tall all week now. Had an IIPA of theirs last night that was incredibly good. Can't remember what they were calling it.

No Bale Breaker on this side of the pass. I've been going through withdrawals since my six packs ran out.

Field 41 is one the best pales ever.

This looks like my style. I will be seeking it next time I'm out. Pretty much every corner has its own beer in that area of he country. The problem I've always had isn't freshness or quality, it's just that it all starts to taste the same and it's rarely consistent.

Err... yeah, you're absolutely right. I'm usually coming South on the 5, so the exits to get to Redmond are north of the exits for downtown, hence my brain fart. But you are absolutely correct. Good thing at least one of us has their head screwed on right today!

And he'll just zoom right past Bellingham. Which is OK cuz our three breweries suck anyway. Nothing to see here on your way to Central City.

Holy shit, this is going to sound like I'm totally coming down on you and giving you shit, but I'm not. I just find certain things funny. Nobody, and I mean nobody, calls it "the 5" around here. That's how Californians talk. We call it "I-5," as in eye-5.

From one Midwestern expat to another (IIRC): nobody's more NW than the ones who came here by choice.

Are you implying I would root for the 49ers? HOW DARE YOU!
I guess I've been away for too long. Born in Fremont, raised about two hours north, but yes, you're right, I lived in California for a couple of years (then Texas before arriving here in the midwest for the time being). My brain is being poisoned by 'the 44' and 'the 210'
And apparently now I speak like someone from Utah, is what a linguist told me.
