Beers brewed with gold flakes?

    The new brewdogs beer got me to thinking. The only other beer i know of is a Czech beer brewed with gold called re. Apparently re is almost impossible to get as you have to have the brewery brew it for you on demand.

    With the existence of Goldschläger it was only a matter of time before someone made Goldlager.

    I was buying some Avery Salvation the other day, and the older woman attending the register asked if it was made with gold flakes...because of the foil around the cap.

    It would only be fitting that Goldlager be a special variant of Midas Touch. "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to drink."

    Actually goldsclager was not the original, goldwasser was :wink:!
