I agree with Fatc1ty. Had this on draft in Nashville and it was amazing. A few months later my inlaws brought me a case from Florida. Could not believe it was the same beer.

I find some similarities to Anderson Valley Hop Ottin. Unfortunately it doesn't help you much as it also isn't distributed to IN.

Exactly my experience with Sweetwater IPA. The first several times I had it, it wasn't fresh and honestly I didn't care for it at all so I went several years without drinking it. That is until I was at a friend's house a few months back watching a football game and he had some and it was really fresh. I reluctantly tried it again and was suprised at how AMAZING and citrusy it was! I have since added it back into my IPA rotation.

I had one for the first time this weekend on a trip to New Orleans. I quite enjoyed it. I probably haven't had one in about a year or so, but it reminded me some of the Odell IPA. Anyone else think so?

I think Bells Two-Hearted IPA tastes pretty similar to Sweetwater IPA. You can check their distribution at the link I provided, but Bell's has a very wide distrobution and Two-Hearted is one of their biggest sellers. Stone IPA could also fit the bill and they are distributed to Indiana.

OP here. I've done zombie dust, which is still hard to get your hands on in the Indianapolis area. Typically they do 2 bottle maximums from most liquor stores or you have to be there waiting as it gets delivered. I prefer alpha king as it's easier to get your hands on and has a nice honey finish to it. The appeal to Sweetwater is that you don't have to go hunting for it and can be a favorite that you drink at any time. To me, seemed like the ultimate go to beer to keep stocked in your fridge. To the other posters, I'm about 3 hours from Chicago and 3 to Cincinatti. I'm just right outside Indianapolis. I wouldn't mind ordering some online, just don't wanna end up paying $3-4 a beer when it comes down to shipping costs on a 6 or 12 pack. I guess I can keep my fingers crossed it can get distributed to Indiana or just buy a couple packs when I go out of state.
