I'm putting together a trade for a BA in IL. I'm in Cali and I'm not sure which beers I can get that he can't find there. Are there any BA's in IL that can help me out? Which west coast beers can't you get off the shelves there that you would love to get in a trade?

So far I have Russian River and Deschutes.
    Thanks.

Was just going to post the link as well. However Deschutes and Russian River are two good starting points.

I have heard you get Ballast Point in Central/Southern Illinois. We don't, and I love Sculpin. How readily available is it down there? I travel down there every few months for work. In fact, there is a possibility I'll be down there this week for a meeting. If so, is there anywhere you could recommend to pick up some Sculpin? Any chance there is some Victory at Sea still around?

havent seen sculpin for awhile, do have big eye ipa on shelves. victory at sea has been replaced by sea monster everywhere i have seen. if your gonna be in peoria, bloomington, springfield your best bets are friar tuck. if your gonna be in champaign they have a friar tuck and a recently opened binnys. also if your in the springfield area look for rolling meadows beer at friar tuck or famous liquors.

Thanks for the link. I'm gonna add Lost Abbey to my list. I think between these 3 breweries I should be covered.

Lost Abbey is definitely in IL. Tomme Arthur is in Chicago for events this week. Scratch the LA/Port options from your list.
