Is there anywhere that lists the availability of beers by state or region? For instance : Russian River only available in a few cities in CA and Philly I know Alchemist is available in VT but where else? New Glarus in WI but where else? Just looking to find out areas of Abrasive,Ghandi Bot, Cigar City, Clown Shoes,Surly,Coffee Bender, Fresh Squeezed etc in case friends/family are traveling .
If you're interested in particular breweries, go to their sites. They almost always have a distribution page. As for New Glarus, they are pointedly available only in WI, and they've taken legal action against places that have tried to sell their beer outside the state.
Seekabrew is not up-to-date always so don't rely on that too much. For those Surly beers, only Minnesota and Chicago area right now, although some random drops were made in Iowa (and Wisconsin?) recently to get people ready for distro coming soon.
Yea Ive sent them a few emails about some obvious errors, like I think I saw they said that Lost Abbey was in NC.
Seekabrew/'they' are not a company dedicated to providing only this service. It is a BA named FalconA, and he would appreciate any and all updates and corrections to this list that he provides out of common interest. It is only as current and reliable as those that feed into it.
