The Yetis are also tough sledding, no because they're harsh, but because the're so rich and heavy. Need to share!

Bruery high abv beers (Black Tues, Grey Monday, Anniversary Beers, etc). I actually really like some of them, but they are very sweet and boozy. It's a long journey, but worth the trip.

For me, Belgian pale beers with lots of phenolics. All the way from singles and mild pales all the way to tripels. I struggle with 'em, but don't mind that flavor in very small doses.

Black Tuesday. That is, if you dare to tackle a bottle on your own.

Rodenbach Grand Cru. I like sours, including the blended Rodenbach - but the GC was a drain-pour.

Finishing a glass of beer should never constitute 'work'. The second it feels that way? You're drinking the wrong one for you. Cut your losses and move on.

Anything from Abita and most Belgians. Just not my thing, and I hate pouring beer out.

I hate to admit that I didn't get through this one. Poured it out because there was absolutely no joy in drinking it, no reward.

Beers with that much licorice/raisin flavor to them are work for me, too. I can drink it, even enjoy it, but it *is* work.

Southern Star's old ale Old Potentate wasn't easy for me to handle first time around.

120 Minute, too ... next time I'm pouring it on my pancakes ...

Extremely sour ascetic wilds....love them , but need breaks to finish a 750 off....and I mean a day or two. Upland Darksynth was the most recent.

None if I don't enjoy it I pour it. It should be enjoyable not "work". Can't tell you how many lagers have been used to water plants.

You guys are playing right? Isn't this beer meant to be opened and closed like a whiskey would be?
