Beers to get/try while in Chicago

I'm going to be traveling out to Chicago from So Cal in mid April and want to see what some of the locals think I should be drinking when I come out?

The obvious and not so obvious (hard to find).

Brewbars and spots to hit?

Staying on Chicago River so in that relative vicinity.

Anyone willing to do a meet and trade, I know everyone loves Cali. Beer!
