Hi east coast! My buddy is coming back to Oregon and agreed to bring some beers with him. Anything exciting I should have him look for? Also, I saw a place called Beer Table I was going to have him try, but is there someplace better to get bottles near the Upper east side?
beer table is terribly expensive. City Swiggers is in the UES. I'm not sure how our distro compares with Oregon's but perhaps he could look out for Cigar City?

Yes, I was trying to sound like I know what I'm talking about. Thats just what google told me when I put in his addresss. Although I did go to NYC once when I was 13 so I know the city pretty well. I did, it's awesome! Thats how I found beer table, I was just looking for something close to his place to make it easy. I will look into city swiggers as well. Thanks everyone.
Thanks! Yeah the big issue with Beer Table is that it's located in Grand Central Station, which is prime real estate. So their prices tend to be higher than other stores in the city. I would tell your buddy to head down to the East Village and hit up Good Beer, Alphabet City Beer, and Top Hops.
that's being generous! their prices are generally 1.5-2.0x the already higher nyc retail prices. i only get the mini "growlers" from them... everything else is just throwing money away.
Wow thats crazy! There are a couple places here that run a bit high, but 2x is excessive. We are spoiled in Portland I guess. I gave him some options and we will see what he ends up with. Thanks again everyone!
