Beers to score in Ithaca?

    My brother is going to Ithaca Beer Co. and is going to bring me back some flower power and cascazilla. Any other recommendations from there? Any recommendations from other places in the Ithaca area? Thanks in advance to the always helpful BA's. Cheers.

    I'd say grab some Old Habit if they still have it. It's a barrel aged rye. They've been putting out interesting pilot batches, so maybe some growler fills? I'd also suggest Finger Lakes Beverege Center.

    See if your brother can snag some bombers for you at Horseheads brewery, about 20 minutes south of ithaca. Really good brews coming out of there as well.

    If he can't make it to Horseheads (probably 20 minutes or so from Ithaca Beer), Finger Lakes Beverage has a ton of their stuff in bottles. I'm not a giant fan, but their Domination barley wine is great. And Cortland Beer's Flight 410 is certainly something to try.
