Pumpkin beers... I haven't had a good one in ages. Tripel's are kind of a style that I really have to "lean into". It takes me at least one before I'm appreciating them to their fullest... which is dangerous.

Basically every American barleywine. SN Bigfoot - not a barleywine. This is an imperial IPA. It's so hoppy and bitter that I almost spit it out the first time. Bell's Third Coast has almost no flavor to it. Old Stock (not quite a barleywine, but almost) is a bitter mess.

I like just about everything Troegs makes. However, their Dreamweaver Wheat is horrible to me. I'd rather put a bale of straw in a blender and drink it. Same taste and cheaper.

Furious - I'd much rather grab an Overrated, way better IMO
Backwoods Bastard - Syrupy rootbeer and cheap whiskey
Habenero Sculpin - Regurgitated hot peppers spit into an IPA

Habanero Sculpin. I've actually enjoyed the heat in some of the other "pepper" beers I've had. I don't enjoy this one at all.

Gose. Tastes like what's in my mouth after I sneeze. Yuck.

Sunking anything. Though I do like GFJ, but I wouldn't get it again due to the price. It's not like all their beer is awful or anything. They are just boring. I've never had one of their beers and said to myself afterwards "I would get another one." I find their beer rather forgettable.

Shock Top Honey Bourbon Cask Wheat. Who tried this and said, hey we should bottle this? Awful stuff

Bell's Two Hearted - not terrible but incredibly average and not something I'll ever buy again.

Bourbon County Brand Stout - I love bourbon. I love stout. I really don't understand why people think BCBS tastes like bourbon, it doesn't. I'll take KBS over BCBS any day.

Bourbon County Brand Barleywine - I'm pretty sure I just don't like barleywine and then couple that with Bourbon County's signature barrel aged taste, no thanks.

Bourbon County Brand Cherry Rye Stout - it pained me to dump the majority of this bomber, but after trying to drink it for an hour, I just couldn't stomach its cherry cough medicine-ness.

If you don't like mosaic you're not going to like Grunion and that's why I'm assuming some people hate it.

Was it this year's batch? I've never been so disappointed with a beer that I know can be fantastic to receive the garbage that was Abrasive this year. To add insult to injury I had to trade all of my trade bait for 10 cans of Abrasive.

Surly tried to make it right by sending me some swag and I commend them for that, but man I just wanted the beer I know and love.

    Alpine Nelson (Just...no.)

Ballast Point Sculpin (This is a good IPA, not the second coming of Christ.)

New Glarus Spotted Cow (The BA is 82 which I think is about right...but when we went to WI we heard people mention Spotted Cow more times than all other beers put together. Its popularity seems to be mostly because it’s the epitome of a hyper-local easy-drinking beer. Also, when we visited the brewery I posted a picture of the Wisconsin Belgian Red on FB, and one of the replies I got was “No. Spotted Cow all day long.” Seriously???)

I guess that’s similar to Founders Breakfast Stout for me. Since it isn’t distributed in CA, it took me forever to finally get my hands on a bottle. I tried it, and while it was good...I was initially underwhelmed, considering I had spent years of searching and a premium price. But then I realized that it’s been around since 2003, whereas most of the coffee stouts I’ve tried not only didn’t exist until recently, but are from breweries that didn’t even exist until recently. In that context, I appreciated FBS more.

not beer, but sixpack art. i don't get why all of new belgiums six packs look like book covers you'd see at urban outfitters.

The obsession with Barrel aged beers. All taste like cocoanuts to me.

A lot of people like chillwave, a lot of people love chilleave but I found it so sweet. I enjoyed it, it's not a bad beer but for the praise and overall popularity of the beer I "don't get".
