Usually I like heat in things, but for some reason I feel like people are over loading them. I saw that on tap and avoided it ha.

    Cheers!

My buddy is a brewer at Twisted Pine, they (at the brewery) agree with what you are saying and are going to revamp the recipe coming soon, along with a slew of new beers (hoping to reach about 3 new beers a month).
But I agree, tastes terrible. I'm not too keen on chili beers in the first place.

I don't regret any beer, because good or bad the result will be the same.

Shock Top Belgian White ale. I love witbiers. They are what got me into craft beer (weird, I know). But Shock Top has to be kidding me... I had this on tap at Famous Dave's. They kept on advertising the fact that they took great care of their beer (idk what that means, but they were adamant about it) and loved their brew. The only other beer that seemed utterly interesting was the Red Hook Long Hammer IPA. Eh.. Thats another story. The Shock Top honestly tastes very watered-down. I thought it was just me so I asked the waitress for another pour.. Same deal. Maybe it was the batch, idk.. but never again. Shock Top makes Blue Moon look like an A+ witbier on my palate.

I feel like you Sox fans are trying to figure out new ways to still be downtrodden fans. Oh, you haven't won a World Series at home since 1918. That's tough man. Baseball indignation aside, I'm with you. Drink your good beer for any reason including "it's a Tuesday and I want to drink a badass beer"!

I'd love to say none. I really would. I hang out with a young crowd of 20 somethings, and they'll drink domestics and PBR and I'll partake because my philosophy is even bad beer is better than almost every other drink.

But three beers have been so bad I couldn't even finish them. Ghostface Killah and two old bottles of Echt Kriekenbier and Nethergate Growler's Augustinian Ale. Ghostface has been talked about several times here, so I don't want or need to touch on that. Just a horrid beer. The other two I bought at the same time on massive discount at a local beer grocery. I thought I'd give them both a try. Infected, oxidized, sour, and made me sick. Toughed it out through half a 12oz of the Kriekenbier and literally two sips of the Augustinian Ale. I later checked the drink by date of one of them and it was more than a year passed the day I drank it. I hear both are actually fairly decent beers fresh, but all I can vouch for is them being atrocious old.

OH! And Kaliber if you count NA beers. I ordered one when I took a month off of drinking and what a horrible mistake that was. I wanted to cry.

A few, but the last I remember is Dale's Pale Ale. What a waste of money that was. Now Oskar Blue's is here in Indiana and I can not justify paying almost 14$ for some Deviants. I know I should not judge a brewery on one beer but I will hold off on Oskar Blues for awhile.

As my elder friend has always told me...

If you're too drunk to taste it, don't waste it.

And on that note, few weeks ago at my house I had a very nice bottle share. Great, grey Monday, appreciation, bramble.. Etc etc.. Ended up having 14 bombers/750s between 4 of us friends. I thought it was a cool idea to dig in my cellar and pull out rare+king Henry and drink them side by side... Amazing tasting , but wish I would have popped the Rare while I was sober. (Wasn't my first time having king Henry, but it was my last bottle)

Have had that gut feeling since I drank Dale's. I used to have to drive to Michigan to see many beers Indiana did not get. About 6 months ago when I was in Michigan I saw it and grabbed it. Dale's Pale ale is the Coors Light of craft beer!!!!!!!!! It is disgusting

This was actually very good, paired with the right food. I served it with pancakes and broiled salmon (for dinner), and everybody loved it.

I opened an Old Rasputin XV after having it for only a few months. The hottest beer I have ever had. Really wish I would have saved it for a while.
