    Celebration.

Despite buying probably two or three cases each season, I still think I take it for granted and that feeling is usually amplified around this time of year when I count down the days…

Also SN Narwhal/ Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout in equal measure. Every year I plan to get multiple sixers and I never do. Always regret that decision around this time of year.

I miss having Alpine and Green Flash before all the changes happened and they were no longer distributed in my state. Beamish is a stout I enjoyed also but that disappeared pretty early in my good beer journey.
I regret not stocking up on Sip of Sunshine when Lawsons brought it here for a brief time(because of CBC). Man that’s a great beer!

    For me;
    • Avery BA series. We used to get most of the Avery BA series here, up until about seven years ago, then suddenly nothing. We still get their other beers sometimes. No idea what happened. The series may have ended in 2021, nothing newer on their website.
    • Most recently Founder's anything. Last Fall, the local distributor that handled Founders closed, and another distributor picked up almost all brands. Except Founders. They're still on the shelves, but old stock apparently. Seems like something they'd want to get back.
    • Oskar Blues BA beers. Another one where we see their top sellers, but no BA beers.

Sixpoint Puff. IIPA that if I recall correctly was unfiltered.

Definitely Anchor Beers, Steam but even more so Porter. Everytime I'd buy either I'd be so pleased with the purchase but I passed them up for something "new and shiny" far too often.

These days I'm much less adventurous and really try to send my dollar to the people making the reliable stand bys that I really enjoy.

I picked up a couple of cans last time I was in Canada!

Pabst leased Oly’s Canadian rights to Great Western Brewing of Saskatoon.

They've been gone a long while but I still miss Ithaca Brute and LeBleu. Brute used to just sit in huge displays and I definitely took if for granted. LeBleu less available than that, but also never appreciated its greatness the way I did after it was discontinued.

    Great thread!

It has been many years since I moved away from Indiana, but I still miss having regular access to most anything from Three Floyds, Sun King Wee Mac, and Two Brothers Domaine DuPage.

I try to track as many of these beers down as I can when I go back home for a visit

I always buy a case of Brooklyn Blach Chocolate Stout as soon as it hits retail. Would do the same for SN Narwhal but for some reason it's has not been distributed in North Nj for a few years now.

If I knew they would eventually close, I would have begged them for the Honey Double Mai Bock recipe, plus, if at all possible, drank much more of it.

Pete's Wicked Ale is another one I thought would never die.
Luckily I brew a solid clone of it, but when I don't have it on draft, I wish I could just go grab a 6.

Perhaps reach out to Evil Genius Brewing. They have 'rebrewed' a number of Stoudts beers over the past couple/few years:

Maybe they have the Stoudts brewery logbooks of the various brands of beer?

    Cheers!

In California, I missed easy access to fresh Two Hearted. In Michigan, I miss finding Pliny anytime I want it. And, Tecate— oddly enough—now that Modelo has pretty much cornered the market. (Although it’s not craft, it does fit the “find anytime” criteria here.)

You beat me to it! I was going to say... Stoudt's Pils, my go to Pils for a long time. Driving from Philly up to Centre County we would detour to Adamstown to pick up a case or two at the brewery. Couldn't get fresher than that.

Man I could go on an on about this. Here’s the first few that came to mind.

    Firestone Walker Pale 31
    Southampton Double White
    Peekskill Amazeballs (the original)
    Stillwater Classique
    Green Flash Hop Head Red

This is one that I miss but I never took it for granted. As soon as I noticed it only being available at certain retailers I would buy a 12 pack anytime I was near the places that still carried. I bought the last two cases at the last place near me that carried it.

And before it was getting scarce I'd buy a six pack at least every two weeks
