Thumbprint Cherry Stout - New Glarus Brewing Company -- such an artificial cherry taste...nasty.

Mother Funker - The Bruery - straight vinegar

Pumpking - Southern Tier - they nailed the pumpkin taste - though more of the "veggie" taste than the nice sweet fall taste.

Nah, I like 'em too. You could start a thread about any beer on the planet and get mixed reaction.

Rogue Mom Hefeweizen, Lagunitas Brown Shugga, Finch's Threadless IPA and Sam Adams Imperial White were all pretty bad for me. Also not a huge fan of Belgian beers I cant not taste bananas.

True enough. Was in Belgium earlier this year and overheard a guy who started a well known Belgian brewery come down pretty hard on the whole Trappist thing, saying their beers were mostly marketing hype. No way I was opening my mouth, but it did open my eyes to the notion that there are no absolutes in the beer world.

Heck, is that not obvious given that 90%? of Americans still consider BMC selections as sacred?

I am a bit surprised with all the pumpkin digs in this thread (including Pumpking). That's definitely a controversial brew. Luckily I like most of them so my septic tank hasn't received any strange substances this season.

Pretty much any of DFH's "spice cabinet" nonsense.

Strangely enough, although I'd never buy Bud Lite or Coors, I enjoy them on occassion.

Evil Twin Lil B... Overpriced and overhyped when there are much better imperial porters and imperial stouts. I had to drain pour the majority of the bottle.

Runner up is an easy target - Voodoo Doughnut.

Dang, rather surprised at all the ST, especially Pumking, hate. They definitely aren't for everyone, but I enjoy a ST brew or 3.

Secondary sources have the Newark BIPA being brewed with bullion hops, dry-hopped and using brewery-distilled hop oils. Once Falstaff moved it to RI to their Narragansett brewery, the hops were eventually changed to a blend of Brewer's Gold (the longtime primary hop for it's sister brew, XXX Ale) and Yakimas, and the use of hop oil dropped, instead milling the hops for dry-hopping. Probable that the hops changed again in the move to, first, Ft. Wayne and then Pabst Milwaukee.

Totally agree with many of these, especially the Voodoo Douhgnut, Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale, but Sam Adam's Griffin's Bow and Starr Hill's Lucy are worth mentioning.
