    I hope everything works out for you in the end, and if you lost any beers of sentimental value - like limited beers that you really wanted to try and can no longer find - you should post them on here, and I'm sure some friendly BAs will help you track it down.

    Just curious. What blog and do you know the link to where he or she wrote about it?

    That's horrible - really sorry to hear that. I have often wondered if I should contact the insurance company and insure my beer. I might just do that now...

    yeah, should be able to just use pictures and quote standard retail right? Few beers exist where you can't verify the price via Google.

    UPDATE: I got word from my insurance company today and I am getting all of what I claimed, sans the deductible.

    Good deal, but I do know how absurd the deductibles have gotten with all the natural disasters lately, so I hope you didn't take too much of a hit there.
