This year looks to be pretty amazing! Alwas a great local fest to look forward to.
Some amazing beers being poured this year! Usually a great turnout of BA's too.
The after party at Julians is pretty stellar as well.

Sounds great! I have to be in Woonsocket for a family event on Saturday night so I'm definitely in on this. Does it sell out quickly? I'll try and get a headcount and snag some tix tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up Jdiddy!

For those that have been previously, is it a pretty well-run event? Trying to make a decision on this but never been to a fest with 2oz pour sizes. Did people feel like they got their $ worth? I'm guessing that despite the pour sizes, it's pretty easy to throw back quite a bit in 3.5 hours.

I think you pretty much get your moneys worth if you just get '09 Utopias and Still Nacht. I've seen Utopias go for $25/ounce in Boston. I've never been before, but I'm definitely looking forward to going tonight!

45 seems like a lot but where else can you try the kind of rare beers that they will be pouring. It is the only one I go to. I went to the one at the convention center and it is more generic stuff. It is very well run and you can fill as many 2ozers as you want, i look forward to it every year. Got to try it atleast once

It also seems like a pretty well run event from what I've seen. I doubt as many big breweries would go if it wasn't. Pretty much all fests in MA/RI are 2oz pours because it's the law. You still get to have a lot while trying a lot of different beers. You'll definitely have your fair share by the end. In my opinion this is seems like one of the best priced festivals I've been to and I've been to a lot in the area... I don't know how it's not sold out.

I am curious what the lines will be like for those. Obviously a good selection notwithstanding, but it'll be frustrating to have use a significant portion of time for one 2oz. pour. Hoping others can chime in based on past years.

In my opinion, this fest gets better every year. It's well worth your time. I can't wait.

generally lines arent too bad you have to be strategic and after an hour or so there are practically no lines. Some of the rarer stuff may run out but I would say half the people there dont know what they are drinking so they wont be waiting for those. You will be surprised most people are socializing rather than drinking, i usually walk around and hit smallest lines while I can. Once you get to front of line sometimes you can drink a couple samples while up there. I have been last three years been pleased every year.

Again I've never been to this specific fest so if anyone has please chime in, but basing it off other fests there probably will be a long line but the benefit of 2oz pours will be that it should move very fast. Also being 3.5 hours you will have plenty of time, I'd assume you probably wouldn't be waiting in line for more then 15 minutes. I feel like most people not extremely into the craft beer scene probably don't know much about Still Nacht. Due to the rarity/cost of both though I would get in line for those first, I've seen similar stuff kick within 15 minutes at other fests. Also don't expect much more then a 1oz pour, most of the others though you will probably get more then 2oz.

ya I have never waited 15 minutes there, I would try to get your nacht, utopia, kbs and allagash coolship first then go for whatever you can, like I said the longer the night goes often there is not line at all

No online ticket sales anymore. May have made my decision for me. I wonder if tickets at the door are subject to the 1,000 limit. Sent them an email.
