Beer'd is 5 miles from the RI border on the coast, dont miss their beers, fantastic brews.

 

That's why that table is #1 on my list. But as for visits, I haven't even made it to Treehouse yet. Maybe Beer'd has more manageable hours though.

 

I hope this lasts until 10. My guess is no. Last time they had one in the Pawtucket location it lasted 45 minutes. Didn't think the RI beer scene was capable of doing that. I blame the Massholes. ;-)

 

CBS has been on tap at Kinsale in Boston since Tuesday night. $14.50 for 10 oz.

 

Hear ya on the surprise of 45 minutes last time, I'm hoping for at least 8:30-9 which is the earliest I can make it over. This may last longer however, as that restaurant group in general has done little or no promotion for the past few months.

Wonder what the deal is with them? I know they have had a few hiccups recently with the canceled beerfest in addition to the new "Lakeside" Doherty's location taking a while to open...

 

Do I get to keep the table they serve the beer on?

 

I didn't get a sense of what was left, but I came in at 8:50 and just finished my pour. Everyone near me had pints so I don't think it is going that fast. $7 for 6 oz.

 

I stand corrected. CBS at Kindale was $14.50 for 8 oz. KBS still on tap is $12 for 8 oz.

 

They put Track out of business, can take their time now.

 

Just walked in and the fiancé and I got what I was told to the last pours! Cheers!

 

FYI, they just posted that they will not be selling tickets at the door. Less than 50 available.

 

I'll admit Iaughed pretty hard when I saw the blank sign. Also, this might be the worst hangover I've had in a decade. Beervana is legit, had a great time. So Rhode Island and great beers all over. Loved it.

 

Yup my head was hit by a truck too. Only complaint on the event was the bottleneck in the narrow portion of upstairs, I had to wait until 9:30 to hit those stands up.

I was able to tick Proprietors, went through the line twice and just as described it was liquid Almond Joy. Beer'd brought the goods too, fantastic selections. But the above beers combined with Farm to Face later on definitely explains my current head state, holy sweet and sour :-)

 

mad I missed the hawaiian porter. but def the biggest bargin festival I've been to. so much crazy stuff.

 

So did Allagash bring like 1 bottle of Farm to Face? Because it was a 9pm tapping/opening and gone by 9:08 without a huge line.

 

Oh wow I didn't realize it went that quick. Just noticed a moderate line at 9:04 and jumped in. Must have been very little because the other timed stuff made it through huge lines for 15-20 minutes just fine.

 

Great fest this year. Might have been my favorite of the 3 Beervana Fests that I've been to.

I missed out on Proprietor's, it kicked on the person before me. However I was able to get 4 pours of CBS because after the initial rush everyone left the area and the lines were short.

Beer'd's selections were all great and they were the only brewery that I tried all the offerings from. Unfortunately for my wallet, this is a new brewery that I need to take the 45 minute drive to.

Cantillon Vigneronne
Evil Twin Double Barrel Jesus
Beer'd Wet Dogs and Capsized Boats
Whiskey Barrel Aged Ten Fidy

The only beer that I actually poured out was Grey Sail's Dark Star w/ Tart Cherries. I don't know if it wasn't blended properly or if the base beer wasn't chocolately enough, but it just was not pleasant at all.

Oh and while everyone was waiting in line at DFH to snap pictures, I was getting beer poured by Tod Mott which was equally as cool to me as seeing Sam.
