I am thinking of starting to brew my own again. I brewed at home in the early 90's and stopped after never getting any really good beer. I have a kegerator now and kegging seems much easier than dealing with all the bottles.
I was looking at a corny keg but am wondering if I can just use a Sankey style commercial keg? I know it will be harder to clean but what are the other drawbacks?

My guess is that a legally obtained commercial beer keg would also be a lot more expensive than a corny in similar condition.
