I am looking to find a commercial 'baseline' example of the Belgian Pale Ale style and am not having any luck finding De Koninck on the front range. Does anyone know about the availability of this or any other example of the style?

    Thanks,
    Brewer Jeff

The Cheeky Monk locations have De Koninck if you're looking for it.

Thanks for the feedback. Didn't know Cheeky Monk had De Koninck on tap. As for the Fat Tire comparison, I will definitely make a note of that when trying. Although I want my example to have a bit more subtle ester and spice from the yeast.

    Thanks,

Other examples are Avery's Karma and Ommegang's BPA (though as bit high in ABV for style). De Koninck is the classic example of the style in my mind though.
