I was looking at these at my local b&m today and decided to try it a different time. Now I'm seeing that these are retired. It's not a big craft market here and it seems there is about a case on the shelf. Should I buy some up and age them? Or are they not so rare yet as to scoop them up?
It's no longer being brewed, but they only stopped this year. It's not exactly super rare, but you're not going to be seeing it on the shelf much longer. I was a big fan of it and it saddened me a little, although the new Oatmeal Yeti is honestly pretty similar. Grab a couple and see what time does to them. I had a 2012 a few months ago and I think the yeast came out a little stronger, but it didn't necessarily make it any better.
