Ok, so my family is going out to Lake Mead, NV this weekend and we need some beers. Its a lake, and so bottles are out, thus the search for cans. Also, my dad and I aren't really big fan of hops and dont want to drink dark beers on a 100+F weekend. So my question, any decent belgians in a can? I'm in the Santa Ana/Costa Mesa area, so I will probably hit up Hi-Time or Total Wine, just wondering if anybody has suggestions.
Bdb and wittekerke. Bavik too i think. And there is a pils in a can from belgium besides stella and it is bad
Wittekerke is probably your best bet for strict Belgians. Maui Brewing La Perouse is a Belgian style Witbier that is out right now and is tasty. I'd be happy with a 12 pack of Fat Tire cans for a non hoppy lake fix myself.
While not Belgian in origin or production, 21st Amendment's Monk's Blood is a Belgian Dark Strong Ale that is available in cans, although it may not currently be in season.
I think you may have some trouble finding it...I do lol What about something like New Belgium Shift, nice and light....I mean it had Belgium in the names, so, ya know. Haha
