Well this local place is serving all you can eat mussels and fries, and serving as much Belgian drafts as they can. Ive been on a tear of Belgians all week:
Delirium Tremens, Delirium Nocturnum, Gulden Draak, St Louis Gueuze, Kasteel Rouge, Liefmans Fruitesse, Steenbrugge Tripel, Ommegang Belgian Independence Day, Rodenbach Grand Cru, Wittekerke, Cuve Van de Kaizer Blauw & Rood, and Gouden Carolus Ambrio.

Whatever I happen to see on draft around Durham or Carrboro this weekend for sure saturday. Tomorrow is going to be from the shipment of Cigar City I get in, but Saturday has many more fantastic Belgians (I hope I get that 4 year old bottle of St Bernardus Abt 12 by then).

Now that I know this, my plans to head up to Hopleaf with a few friends tonight will be all the more fitting.

I was unwinding the cage on a 3F Oude Geuze, but when I got to the last turn, it just flew off - taking the cage with it. Cheers!

I would, but I'm in Brazil right now and Belgian imports are god-in-heaven ridiculously expensive here. As in, pretty typical to see a 330ml bottle of Duvel for about $15, 330ml of La Chouffe for $12.50, etc. So . . . probably not, but I might have a little something Belgian, if I can swing it. Sucks, because Ommegang is only about 45 minutes from where I love back home! Brazil's great, don't get me wrong, but I'd love to be there today.
