Belgium - Shipping problems

Actually, I'm in Minnesota and I got a box from Etre denied last week. Might not just be a west coast issue anymore.

 

Is it largely an Etre issue? I've had several delivered from Belgium in the past few weeks but that might just be luck. @mattmarka1 at what point in the delivery process was your box denied?

 

It was in US customs for 45 days, and shipped back to Belgium. The rep from Etre said they've had issues w/ US customs on the west coast the last few weeks.

 

Was it entering the USA via the west coast or the east coast? All of mine came in through New York.

Does it depend what state it's headed to whether is comes in via the east or west, ie would Iowa, or at least CR Iowa, always receive Belgium shipments through the east coast?

 

I've heard of people in California having some go through JFK or O'hare, but most come though LAX.

 

It looks like it made it through customs, but then went right back in.

 

Hey drift, I've had it happen plenty of times where that is the last update, until it's in California. For me alot of times it will go from "inbound out of customs" 3-4 days later it will update to "arrived to San Diego sorting facility" since you had a weekend in between the 3rd and today I would say give it a day or two.

 

From what I understand is that there is a 5 Liter liquid limit per shipment; anything over 5L has the chance of being denied by customs. I know this cause I had a box returned, and my trading partner found out from the shipper what happened (DHL)

 

Received both my boxes from two different online stores this last week no problems at all!
