Has anyone heard from these guys recently. I ordered something back in September, I've contact them a few times since then with no response. I've ordered from there a few times before and they are at times slow(taking upwards to pack and ship), but they always responded to me. Just getting a little paranoid as there is some special cargo.

They took a very long time to send my last order...probably waited 3 weeks or so before it was shipped, maybe even a month. That said, I've never had a problem with them in the past, they're just slow.

Thanks it appears others are in the same boat. It's not that I don't trust i will not get my shipment, I just like to feel all warm and fuzzy inside with a "please bear with us" or "sorry for the delay, we've been busy". All I've gotten is silence.

I signed up to get info on 11-3-12 and got a very prompt response from Kurt. Requested info on a specific beer and he said he would check stock and contact me. Few days went by and texted him again and haven't heard back.

I placed an order toward the end of September. My box hadn't shipped after 3 weeks so I sent an email. I received a response from Kurt within a few hours and my box was sent out the next day. Everything arrived safe-and-sound 10 days later. I don't think you need to be too worried, but I definitely agree that some communication would be nice.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. If OP ordered "JVR in a box" like I did (late Sep), I think Kurt was waiting on the second shipment of FF before shipping (took 3-4 weeks to eventually ship). My box is now sitting in customs awaiting clearance - been there for about a week. Confirmed this with Kurt a few days ago and he says this is pretty common recently with customs. I've ordered from BIAB a few times before, so I'm not worried about this shipment (yet).

All is well, Kurt got me a tracking #, she's in customs now. Now I feel all warm and fuzzy

Our tasting group placed a large order when FF was available and it's been stuck in customs for weeks. I've been trying not to think about it but I still worry about it... Hopefully all are well. Good luck guys...

Anyone place an order with them recently since they changed over to BPost for their shipping? The BPost website is ridiculous and there in no one to call in the U.S. for info. It says they tried to deliver my order yesterday, but no one was there. Someone was home all day and no one came to the house.. I have no idea if they will attempt to deliver again or what.. I'm getting frustrated.

It may be worth a shot to try the post office--I had a package from bpost arrive yesterday and it came through USPS. First I had to sign some customs form and then they brought in the package.

If its coming through bpost then it was probably delivered (or at least attempted) by USPS. I would contact them as they handle the shipment once it hits the states.

protip: tracking info from bpost can be plugged into https://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm and used to get more accurate information... just look for the cross reference #

Yup, thanks. I did that and arranged for pick-up. I should be good.

Does any one notice any shipping cost changes after they made the post about it?

Glad it is straightened out for you.

I placed an order with them 2 weeks ago and the box was on my doorstep 10 days later.

Yeah, it would have been 11 days for me if it got delivered as scheduled yesterday. Not bad at all. I just wish I knew to track this stuff ahead of time. I think my mailman is a lazy idiot, though, and didn't feel like coming to the door.
