Bellingham Beer Week '13

    Was able to grab a few at the brewery and sample it on tap. Damn was it good. Thanks though, Terry! I do need to hit the Ham soon though.

    Stopped in for a quick pint of the fresh hop at Kulshan before apple picking at BelleWood and then lunch at North Fork. Ended up driving all the way up Baker afterward and enjoyed the little snow storm up at the top.

    Picked up a bottle of Spotted Owl, too. It was really nice on tap.

    Now you see why I drank 6 of those fresh hops the other day, I loved it. I ended up helping a friend shovel dirt all afternoon, would have liked to shared a pint. Another time.

    And, that Spotted Owl maybe the best kept, rare beer, secret in this state.

    My pint was downed in about 5 minutes, then it was back in the car and off to BelleWood to let the little one splash in mud puddles while we picked apples. They actually had Bastard Kat on tap there, which was a nice surprise. We originally weren't going to stop at Kulshan, but it was right off I-5 and we had time.

    North Fork was awesome. We had two pizzas while I tried the IPA, Berlinerweisse and Spotted Owl and watched the Hawks win in OT. Wife ordered their awesome rootbeer and drank 90% of my Berliner.
