Well I have never seen it either. I would love to try it at some point.

Would like to try this, I’d expect it to be very good.

I won’t make judgements on anyone’s tastes one way or the other but I am a big black note fan and think of it sort of as a “grown up’s” barrel aged stout, fairly lean and elegant, really balanced, and a lovely alternative to huge sludgy sugary offerings, which I also love.

I wish they would release the tap list for All Stouts Day already... it's Sunday. I would assume this would make an appearance there.

I grabbed the last 2 sixers on the shelf, but there were some in the singles area too. If it was super limited, that shop would put a limit on it. I'm sure there was more in back.

Expedition stout is roasty and drier, you may enjoy it. Nice thing is it's in 12 oz bottles, so better chance of getting your hands on it compared to limited bombers of stuff.

I have enjoyed Expedition but would definitely grab the BBA version (or Black Note) as if! Hey all I have is my dreams...

Ya bells told me 4pks only. Anyone else seen the bba version in their area? My shops say reps don't see it on the list but bells says my area will get it.

Updates from anyone seeing this today would be helpful. Will hit a store or two to see if it's in Indy yet.

As of yesterday, nothing I’m aware of in SE MI. My bottle store guy said next week. Someone at another store said there was an issue with the labels and Bell’s had to hold distribution.

My weekly trip to a small beer store came up roses as I was offered a bottle. They said they got a case and it was a “behind the counter beer” from Bell's. Only for regular customers I’m guessing. $8 a 12 ounce bottle. Will save it to share with friends sometime soon.

Funny how $8-10 a 12 oz is ok but the $15 willetized is a no go in 22oz. Same price folks plus you get two tiny cups.

I love Expedition and for my $ would rather a $14-16 six pack than a $10 single of BBA.

    Enjoy

I would recommend trying BBA Expedition at least once as life is short and BBA Expedition is delicious.

Been there done that.......If I tried everything I would be broke.....that is more broke than I am. I used to buy a lot and paid whatever it cost. I realized most was just good and most way too much for what it was. I have had many great beers , most not worth the price.

Pretty sure BBA Expedition would be great but for me not worth the price of admission.

A six pack of expedition and a 30 of Hamms keeps me well under my $1 a beer and I enjoy them both.

    Enjoy
