I just picked up a six pack at the Naperville Binny's. They were also selling singles. Not sure how much they got as there were only three six packs on the shelf and about half a dozen singles. Didn't see anymore in the store.

I think I have convinced myself to pickup 6 more today... drink a few, share a couple, sit on a few.

Had at the Eccentric Cafe on Wednesday, a delicious perfectly smooth brew. Not anticipating being able to snag 1 bottle in Arizona given the demand for awesome brews by the craft crowd out there.

Finally got around to a full pour today after having a small sample at the funvitational and buying a case at the general store. I can see the similarities as someone else mentioned to plead the 5th but this has more hop presence yet it's still incredibly drinkable fresh unlike expedition. I feel like this should hold up a lot better compared to plead the 5th which I find falls off fairly quick for a big stout. Can't really beat it for under $3 a bottle.

Hitting Chicago 'burbs all over today, some already sold out. Most selling singles for $2.90-$3.50, but there are 6pks to be had if you're quick. If your store didn't get it today, they should get it next week.

I found in the greater Milwaukee area today. Picked up a sixer at Otto's in Brookfield. Last one on the shelf but they may have more in the back.

Absolutely fantastic beer. The mouth feel of TenFIDY but with a lot more going on and just the right amount of burn. Well done Bells!

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe this is a blend of double cream stout and expedition... which is of course the base beers to make blacknote.

I don't think it is since this beer contains polaris hops which I believe are a fairly new hop variety. Unless they've tweaked double cream or expedition recently I think it's a new recipe.

Polaris was released about 2011 or 2012. Black Note has been around a little longer.

Why wouldn't they make a new recipe for their 30th Anniversary beer? Anything else they already make would just seem lazy, and not Larry's style.

for their 30th, they should have taken every recipe EVER and mixed it together. A culmination of their brewing history

I was in New Buffalo, MI over the weekend and the liquor store attached to Barney's grocery store had a bunch of these

I managed to grab a bottle of this when I was up in St. Joseph over the weekend - the last single bottle at the Liquior Cabinet. I'm not sure if it's going to be my style, so a single seems like a great option, although I would've bought 2-3 if I had the chance.
