Not to worry...this beer is better with age on it. The 2011 vintage was also being sold at Bell's General Store a few months ago when I bought some.

Finally had Sparkleberry on tap today, honestly it was 'meh'; it had a very belgian yest background with faint raspberry taste. If I were to compare it to other raspberry brews I have had recently, both Rubaeus and especially Raspberry Tart would score far above and beyond it. However they did have quite a bit of the Kalamazoo IPA left, I will be sending a few bombers out as extras for my regular trading partners.

Not a malt beverage or sweeter brew fan myself, so I passed on the sparkleberry and glad I did. Rubaeus is really good, BUT i've seen a couple place upsell it for as much as 17.99 a four pack (5 dollars a bottle), and a local spartan store last night had it 11 dollars a 4 pack.. Kind of sad, but it's tourist season here..

17.99 is crazy! I wouldn't buy it at that price and am glad you didn't! $11 is the normal price I have seen, and while I wish it was a little cheaper, I'll still buy it at $11 because it's damn tasty, and I am more of a stout guy than a fruit beer guy!

Doesn't surprise me with Sparkling Ale being very belgian yeasty. Bummer, I was hoping it would have more raspberry too.

The Kalamazoo IPA in bombers is sold out at the General Store. :slight_frown: Nothing special is in its place right now.

Any updates from the general store? I guess I could call myself but though I'd check to see if anyone has heard anything...

Do they follow a pattern for 750 releases? I'm in mi for the weekend and I'd love to pick some up.

Pulling up and old one here...Has anyone seen any new bottles since back note 750s came out early this year? Only thing I have seen since sparkling ale and Kalamazoo IPA 22s

I'm sure Black Note will show its face in a couple of weeks....followed by 12 oz 4 packs a couple of weeks after that.
