Bells Black Note 2016 NYC/LI

    Assuming this just dropped? I know we saw limited (to say the least) distro of this in 2014 was it? If anyone has further info on the latest release please post here!

    I unexpectedly found some out in Suffolk County the other day so I picked up a 4-pack. It was at Lake Ronkonkoma Beverage. Definitely gone by now.

    Drank one already. Thought it was whatever. Won't be seeking out again.

    Yeah, I stumbled into a 4 pack also. Good Beer actually posted when they had it in a while back.

    I preferred it over KBS. Black Note was less roasty with more decadent dessert notes that I enjoy. I also don't think I'll be seeking it out again at ~$30 a 4pk though.

    Good Beer posted about it randomly and it didnt seem to get a lot of attention. A couple other shops got bottles in but theyve all gone. I was able to track down a bottle but would love to find one or two more.

    Before I saw it on a shelf or posted by Good Beer I just assumed it was one of those beers we get in distro but doesn't actually see its way to the public.

    Bummed I missed out on this, it hit the city while I was on vacation. If anyone sees it on a shelf or has extras they'd part with, well yes plz.

    I saw it pop up randomly in Queens about two weeks ago... Snagged a couple and have been keeping my eye out...

    I saw - I think in the Bells thread - that people in Michigan were complaining about local distribution, so lucky to have seen it here at all... Something about a problem with the base beer, maybe?
