Bells Black Note or BBA Expedition Stout?

    TW in Greenville, SC had some Black Note for about 20 minutes last Thursday... Sold out pretty quick

    If I'm not mistaken BA Expedition was brewery only.

    Correct.

    And it seems Black Note hit CLT area today, sold out obviously.

    Black Note was 1pp at TW in CLT today. (Not sure if it sold out or not) Didn't see any posts at the other bottle shops so it may hit them later this week.

    The whole state of South Carolina only got 10 cases of Black Note. And only two stores around here had any, with 1 bottle per person limits.

    The Ohio neckbeards swore up and down that Black Note was brewery only as well. Not saying you're wrong though, more irritated how they were trying to drive up value.

    Have to imagine they would allocate to their highest volume accounts. Any ideas who might get a 6 pack or two?

    (Edit: now that I read my own comment, I realized no one will reply because if you knew who was getting BN, you wouldn't tell the masses until after you got your allocated bottle).

    I was able to grab one from a tw just north of Charlotte proper the other day passing through. Also not sure why the guy above would believe people from ohio telling him it wouldn't go into distro when ya know the bells brewery isn't even ohio.

    Bestway and Stella both got it in the Piedmont. Usually these types of beers are allocated based on volume sales, so it would make sense that places like TW would get the most and most places wouldn't get any.

    We had BA eXPEDITION ON TAP HERE IN aSHEVILLE LAST WEEK BUT IT ONLY LASTED JUST OVER A DAY.
