Bells Black Note

This year it was released in early February. I think the year before that it was released in January.

 

Evidently (according to bells distributor) they did not brew it this year. Hope they do it again soon! Delicious brew!

 

KBS week was March 27th-March 30th 2013. Black Note was released the following week, so early April is correct. There is very little distribution(might as well almost consider it brewery only) and even for people who live in MI it's hard to get.

 

Really? I swear when I was at the kbs release this year in April Blacknote wasn't out yet. And I thought a week or so after the kbs release bells put out their Blacknote.

 

I believe they do a silent release most places so it's super hard to get I was able to trade a few I lucked up on for a dark Lord if that tells you about how good black note is.it's a great beer reminds you of bcbs in a few ways it randomly appeared here around the sunmer

 

Ya that's probably right, I know my bottles are dated early February or it might be a 3 instead of a 2 the bottling date stamp is a bit off centered.

 

I got a single bottle in April in N VA.

 

Phenomenal beer.

 

Amazing beer...was released before KBS here... Hits distro in MN and comes in 4 packs, but of course most places had limit on 1-2 bottles per person

 

We got it about a month after KBS here in Ohio so in May sometime?

 

It is released silently at Bell's General Store. But last year....

It hit MN first as the distributor there messed up and released it early, thus tipping everyone's hand that it was being released.

 

I'd try it.

 

I was at kbs last year too, they released bn like the following week, literally. I missed getting bottles at the general store by days since I was in Kalamazoo Saturday/Sunday.

 

I just did a little asking around here and my buddies and I all seem to think BN will be a go here again in 2015.

 

Would suck. It's a top 3 BBA stout of mine. Stuff is incredible.

Plan to trade/out right buy at least a 4 pack.

 

It's every bit as amazing as everyone says that it is

 

Very little to NC this year.

My one bottle was spectacular.

 

I had it on tap at a Binny's in Chicago this past May. I creamed my panties, it was so good.
