Is there any logic to when Bells uses which bottle format? I'd love to try this but will probably pass on a 750mL bottle.

I would have preferred 4pks of 12 oz bottles as well but perhaps there isn't enough produced to warrant the smaller bottle format. I would certainly still like to try this is as TCOA is a Bell's favorite of mine. I'd guess this is General Store only? I don't recall 750s being distributed to IL in the past anyway but I could very well be wrong.

I thought the same thing for every state I have seen bells. I read 750 and said, "they do 750s????????"

I know it was mentioned in the BA Expo thread, but they posted a picture on IG last week of this being bottled. Seems like it would be hitting the General Store really soon. Perhaps we’ll be lucky enough to have @LarryBell chime in again like he did for BA Expedition. And to confirm or deny if this one will only be at the General Store and not his distro?

He did chime in and said to look for it around E day. Eccentric day is usually around beginning of December though so not sure why they are going to sit on bottles that long.

I'm pretty sure 750s have been General Store only in the past so I would expect the same for this release. The good news is that that is how Black Note got its start before hitting 12oz bottles

Bells has always been a strong advocate of the 12oz bottle(at least in distribution). This is a strange offering and while I’ve bought their Wild Ales in a corked 750ml from the General Store I haven’t bought anything in a store with higher volume than 12 ounces since bombers of Batch 3000.

For info, Bell's confirmed on social media that bottles are exclusive to the General Store & will be released on Eccentric Day, Dec. 7. Draft will head out to other areas but will be limited.

I would gladly check this out if I was going to hit up Eccentric Day, but they've got competition in Chicago for the Vanilla Deth and Gravedigger Billy release. That said, the Bell's cafe has a port barrel-aged Third Coast on draft right now that is a must-try for locals.

Has anyone even seen this years non aged third coast? I haven't seen a third coast old ale newer than 2015, I thought it was a discontinued beer honestly.
