Bell's Brewery (2021)

I just looked at the tap list for All Stouts Day, and there are 20 on the list. I'm pretty sure that the Eccentric Cafe has more taps than that, so there must be a few other offerings.

Edit: that must be last year's tap list info, but maybe 20 is still the number.

 

As advertised in this thread, BA 35th anniversary is on tap today. IMO it was worth the visit, adding smoothness, complexity and of course barrel character to what was an already outstanding stout. I put it on par with BA expo and BA 30th.

They will do crowler fills in person only- $22 for 32oz. Draft price was about $1 per oz.

 

$22 for a crowler of BA 35th is incredibly reasonable. Kudos to Bells.

 

I had a Bell's Porter for the first time in about a year.

I was immediately reminded that this is a FANTASTIC beer. Perfect for fall, too, once it cools off just a bit more.

Probably not "breaking news" for anyone on here, but I couldn't help myself!

 

Can’t go wrong with much from bells, especially the dark stuff. That Porter is exemplary

 

You must have used this to cleanse your palate between all those BA Rev Crowlers.

 

Yesterday the winds shifted from the south to the north here. The temperature dropped ~30 degrees in one day. Which got me hankering for some Expedition. Drank a 2017 last night and am wrapping up a 35th Anni right now. That 35th is drinking really damn good right now. What a beer.

Hey, I admit that Ohio is full of terrible things for the most part. Just ask @Sabtos , he knows.

But, as we are all aware, most of the Midwest isn’t awesome, we just all have great pockets. And, more importantly, we have great scenery at some times of year. Joking aside, there are great places everywhere, but the beer scene in Michigan doesn’t seem to be awesome most of the time, and they get the BCBS shaft, unfortunately. Plus…their roads. My god. It’s almost as bad as Louisiana.

Why has Bell’s never done a Helles collaboration with AC/DC called Helles Bells?

 

Larry Bell is aware of this potential beer name (see post #254 if this link doesn't open to it: https://www.beeradvocate.com/commun...ry-ask-me-anything.637332/page-7#post-6865030) I think I've read from another source that he has also said that he'd never use that name.

To answer your question: 99.9% sure BBA Expo is brewery only and 100% sure Chocolate variant is brewery only.
